Distinction & Decay
I believe that destruction can be more complex and intriguing than creation

In this project I explored how identical objects acquire unique characteristics through the process of decay. I used garage cooperatives as an example of unified everyday structures. Each garage door remains identical to another until its surface begins to decompose under the influence of time, sun, rain, usage and other unintentional phenomena.

I printed captured shapes and textures on receipt/thermal paper, a material that reflects the temporality, vulnerability, and ordinariness of the selected objects. The method I used to staple the paper pieces to the photo underlines the inconspicuous value I find in these unique manifestations of pure contingency in our everyday environment. The installation was set up in the abandoned house, where I left it to fate...or chance:)

In addition to this project, I designed and printed a book detailing my research journey from the beginning. I used various types of paper and experimented with layering to add texture and depth to the reading experience.
Distinction & Decay
Accidental Organisms
In an instant, a simple crack is no more a crack, but a mesmerising river, rapidly flowing in front of my eyes

I'm captivated by the beauty found in the seemingly insignificant things around us, and the mystery of their origins. Regular accidental discoveries often spark a flux of fantasies and associations in my mind encouraging me to be more and more attentive to the world around.

This work is a branch of my ongoing intuitive practice. The pieces you see represent ordinary phenomena that everyone might encounter in everyday life. While it may be easy to guess what they are, I prefer not to mention it explicitly, leaving space for the imagination to wander. My phantasy journey led me to micro worlds, inhabited by inconceivable creatures with endless variety of shapes and bizzare movements.
